A Las Vegas man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly beat, strangled and shot his girlfriend and 12-year-old daughter.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) wrote in a report that Eddie Radon was arrested Thursday, April 13 at around 11:30 p.m. after the woman and her daughter were able to escape the house and call the police.

According to the arrest report, the woman (whose name has not been released) told police that Radon drank alcohol and was upset when he told her they couldn’t pay for a weekend. -end in California. The victim explained that he became even angrier and accused her of cheating on him when she later refused to shower with him.

The woman said Radon grabbed a gun, pointed it at her, put her in a headache, threw her to the ground, punched her in the face and then began to choke her , according to the police report.

He told her, “You’re going to die tonight,” the document read.

Radon and the woman have been in a relationship for six months. The woman told police she begged him to let her say goodbye to her daughter and once she entered her daughter’s room, she closed the door and leaned against it to prevent her to enter.

When police later gathered evidence at the scene, they found 28 bullet holes, mostly in the bedroom door, where before opening fire the woman and the minor allegedly moved past a cupboard.

The documents say Radon eventually broke down the door and pointed his AR-15 rifle at them, forcing them out of the house. As neighbors confronted Radon and tried to calm him down, the woman and her daughter drove away.

HAS A CRIMINAL RECORD

However, it emerged that Radon had a criminal record and was prohibited from owning firearms for a kidnapping case he was convicted of in 2014.

Police said during a search of the home, five handguns and an AR-15 were recovered and seized.

Radon faces the following felony charges:

  • Attempted murder (2 counts).
  • Domestic assault by strangulation.
  • Unload a firearm into an occupied structure/vehicle (4 counts).
  • Children at risk/neglected.
  • Prohibited person in possession of a weapon.
