A woman driving her vehicle in an area of North Lauderdale in Broward was injured after gunfire hit her vehicle on Friday morning.
Broward Police reported that around 3:45 a.m., officers responded to the area of 1190 State Road 7 following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an injured woman.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where it was determined that she had not been shot and had been injured by shards of glass from the window, police said.
The fact is under investigation. No other information has been released about possible suspects or the circumstances under which these shots were fired.
