NEW YORK — Westchester is hosting a job fair for people interested in a variety of summer season positions at county parks.

The job fair will be held on Saturday March 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Muscoot Farm located at 51 Route 100 Katonah, New York 10536.

The many positions within the Westchester County Parks Department include naturalists/educators, nature camp counselors, field officers, and recreation assistants.

The locations cover the entire Westchester County park system with over 50 facilities.

Job descriptions are available here. The county offers full-time and part-time employment opportunities for high school and college students, retirees, career changers, and parks career professionals.

“The nationally accredited Westchester County Park System offers a variety of jobs that require different skills and is a great place to work and learn about the inner workings of where you live,” said the manager. Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

In addition to applying for jobs, participants will be able to visit farm animals, eat pizza and play games.
