A short snippet of video showing a Waffle House employee blocking a metal chair in the middle of a fight went viral this week.

On Tuesday afternoon, musician and actor Mekka Don posted the 3-second video clip on Twitter. Until the moment of publishing this entry, the tweet has more than 4 million views.

“She needs to be the lead in the next action movie,” Don wrote in the tweet posted on December 27. “Waffle House job training is out of line 😫😫.”

The video appears to show a person throwing a metal chair at a Waffle House worker dressed in the restaurant’s uniform and black apron. The skilled employee catches the chair out of the air, which had been thrown over the bar and into her face, before tossing it to the floor.

Customers at this Waffle House location in Austin, Texas, who watched the entire fight, can also be heard screaming as the woman blocks the chair.

The tweet has so far attracted more than 120,000 likes and 10,000 retweets.

Don wrote in a comment on the tweet that an “underrated part of this video” was when another Waffle House worker, looking the other way, appears to move out of the way to avoid being hit by the chair. He joked that the ability to perform stunts is part of the restaurant franchise’s employment requirements.

In a subsequent tweet, Don again commented on the viral clip.

“After this video, I think we all need to come together and stop the violence against Waffle House workers,” wrote Don, who is also a lawyer and businessman. “We cannot defeat them.”
