I’ve always been one of those who argue that photorealism is one of the biggest drags on the video game industry in that it greatly limits the creativity of major video game studios: if all that people want is better graphics and increasingly realistic character design, that’s what big companies will try to develop. However, it is very difficult for me to hold this speech when I see a game that really attracts my attention so much it looks like the real thing and, In this sense, today I want to talk to you about Unrecord.
Unrecord is a game I discovered on Steam a few minutes ago and with whom I had a rather bittersweet first encounter: at first I thought it was some kind of visual novel made with live action cutscenes, but I was crazy when I discovered that it’s a straight-up shooter. Then I leave you with all the details you need to know about the game so you don’t miss anything.
Is Unrecord the game with the most realistic graphics?
- Unrecord is a tactical shooter that puts us in the shoes of a policeman
- All we see in the game is what that would capture the camera of his uniform
- According to its own developers, Unrecord’s plot could fit into the thriller genre
- Moreover, we are in front of a match which will confront us with different moral decisions that will put us up against a rock and a hard place
- Afterwards, I leave you with a trailer for Unrecord that the officials posted on Youtube so you can see it with your own eyes
When will it be playable and on which platforms?
As I write this, the game has no release date or confirmed platforms other than PC; although it’s true that I wouldn’t be surprised if it also ends up being released on consoles new generation. I will keep you posted on any news regarding this game to tell you about it as soon as possible.
