Police are looking for a person of interest in the shooting in Ohio, who left four dead. The individual was identified as Stephen Alexander Marlow, 39, who was last seen wearing shorts and a yellow t-shirt. Also, he has short brown hair.

The shooting was reported around 11:45 this Friday in the 7200 block of Hardwicke Place, where yellow police tape surrounded two houses that were part of the crime scene, reported local media such as The Dayton Daily News.

The “person of interest”‘s vehicle is a white 2007 Ford Edge SUV with license plate JES 9806NBC affiliate WDTN reported.

Butler Township Police Chief John Parker reported that four victims were found at multiple crime scenes suffering from gunshot wounds.; all died on the spot.

Porter said police don’t believe there is a threat to the community; nevertheless, crews will continue to monitor the area in case Marlow returnsand encouraged residents in the area to remain vigilant and review any security camera footage they may have today.

“This is the first violent crime in the neighborhood in recent memory, we ask anyone with any possible information about this incident or the whereabouts of Marlow to call our dispatch center at 937-233-2080″he said. “We are working to determine if there was a motive for this horrific tragedy or if mental illness played a role.”

“If anyone sees Marlow, they are advised to call 911 immediately and not go near him, as he may be armed and dangerous.”

Porter said the Dayton Bomb Squad has been called in “out of an abundance of caution” to ensure there are no more imminent threats to the neighborhood.
