Orlando Florida. – Two people face multiple felony charges after fleeing a traffic stop and shooting Cocoa Police Department officers.
Local authorities reported that a female driver had passed a stop sign and when police tried to stop her, the person in the passenger seat of the car fired three shots at the patrol car.
Deputies began a northbound pursuit on US 1 with assistance from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver collided with another vehicle in Titusville, at which time the suspects were taken into custody.
In the car was a child. No one was hurt.
