Leaders and organizations from Los Angeles will join the National Association for New Americans ( NPNA ) , to seek the naturalization of 2 million people in 2022, seeking the exemption of the payment of the fee to obtain citizenship.

The NPNA is working with the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, as well as the Service Employees International Union and dozens of other organizations that are seeking improvements in the lives of Immigrants and are supporting those who are eligible to become citizens. Americans.

It is sought that eligible immigrants have educational material and resources to continue the citizenship process, in addition to the fact that the cost of these services will be covered by various immigration service providers, which would add up to nearly $25 million.
