Two men have died and three others have been injured this Sunday in an armed attack during an event in the New York district of Brooklyn, as confirmed by the Police.
The US authorities have indicated that they traveled around 00:30 hours (local time) to Wortman Avenue and Sheffield Avenue due to the gunshot alert and calls to emergency services.
In the area, they found the deceased inside vehicles or around the scene of the event with shots in different parts of the body.
The wounded, between 30 and 50 years old, have also been shot in different parts of the body and are admitted to hospitals in critical condition.
“I heard two shots at the party and then the attacker got into a black SUV,” said the security guard at the party.

In another episode, according to a video distributed by the authorities, two individuals, wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, arrived from a street corner in the Corona neighborhood of Queens, took out the weapons they were carrying hidden under their clothes and They began shooting at around 10:30 p.m. local time on Saturday (02:30 GMT) at a group of people, leaving 10 wounded.
There was a birthday party at a nearby restaurant and the sidewalk was packed when the shooting occurred, which left eight wounded men and two women, between the ages of 19 and 72, according to data offered by the Police this Sunday during a press conference. Three of the wounded were the target of the shots, according to channel 7 of the chain ABC.
The men were followed on the sidewalk by two others on motorcycles, in which they fled the scene. According to the Police, the wounded will survive.
“There is only one common, recurring theme that keeps happening and has to stop throughout the city. That’s weapons, multiple weapons on the scene. This is unacceptable on our streets in New York City and it has to end,” said Police Chief of Detectives James Essig, in the conference.
