A young child is among four people injured in a Long Beach house fire on Wednesday.
The emergency was reported around 8:30 a.m. at the two-story house in the 2300 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Two of the victims, including a 3-year-old boy, were hospitalized in critical condition. Two other people were also taken to hospital with less serious injuries.
At least two victims were found on the second floor of the residence.
The fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
