Three schools in the Clark County School District (CCSD) will remain on remote learning through Friday.

SDCC says efforts are still underway to repair broken infrastructure in the area of the three schools: Sunrise Acres Elementary School, Roy W. Martin Middle School and Variety.

“Our goal is to return to class as soon as possible. However, the safety and well-being of students and staff is the top priority,” the district said in a statement.

Families are asked to continue to monitor their emails for updates.

All three schools had to switch to remote learning on Wednesday after high winds damaged power infrastructure in the area.
