Detroit police have arrested a pair of youths after they were named as suspects in shooting a 5-year-old boy in the face and murdering another pair of adults in the same neighborhood.

Both young people would have shot the couple and a five-year-old boy at close range

According to a police report, both teenagers, 16 and 17 years old, were arrested for allegedly shooting a boy named Caleb , only 5 years old, in addition to executing his mother Lashon Marshall and her boyfriend, Aaron Benson in the 15300 block of Evergreen Road near Fenkell Avenue.

Detroit Police Commander Michael McGinnis assured that the suspects are under the protection of the authorities and will face trial for the crimes they are accused of.

According to McGinnis , they managed to find both young people thanks to the complaint of the same neighbors of the neighborhood, for which they obtained arrest and search warrants to bring the young people before a judge.

Both young people knew the three people who shot, but it has not been clarified what motivated the attack on the child.

A relative of Aaron Benson discovered the three bodies in a house

On the other hand, the victims were found last Sunday, when a relative of the boyfriend reported the disappearance of his relative for more than a week.

Once Benson ‘s relative went to his relative’s house, he realized the heinous crime that both young men would have committed.

If found guilty, both could spend the rest of their lives behind bars, but would receive benefits as minors.
