Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 7-year-old boy who disappeared from Arlington Heights.
Derek Clay was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The boy is African American, 5 feet tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray sweater, dark pants and blue sneakers.
Authorities are asking anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to call 877-LAPD-247, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
