Juancho, Gerbass and Ruly, better known as Sidecars; They released their latest album, Passin September 2022. The album was a hit, featuring songs like Wild horses, 180 degrees oh Airplane mode, among others. Now, several months after the premiere, the group has released the music video for the opening song. Pass, The Passage of Terror.

In the video for the song, we saw how the three components of Sidecars they go through tunnels in the manner of what would be a true passage of terror. In addition, the audiovisual was recorded in the Madrid Wax Museum. This is why, as the train that transports the artists advances, we can see the wax figures of certain characters such as the clown of HE or some of the protagonists of the saga star wars. Footage from the musicians’ tour alternates with recordings of disasters and historical events such as footage of wars, explosions or references to COVID.

The pandemic as a source of inspiration

According to what Juancho himself said, he wrote the lyrics to the passage of terror inspired by the restricted life we lived in a few months ago. In this time that it seems fortunately we have already left behind, there were dozens of concerts that had to be postponed or even canceled due to COVID.

“I wrote the passage of terror the same day as we have suspended a concert due to COVID in El Puerto de Santa Maria. A moment when it seemed like we were already getting used to living in this hyper-realistic version of Passage of Terror and were beginning to resign ourselves to finding a scare always around the corner,” the Sidecars singer explained. the passage of terror “He talks about how I don’t want them to tell me how long people believe until this ends because I want to keep some hope alive and I think it won’t be long,” recounted Juancho.

It seems that the terrible and even surreal events that we have experienced in recent years have been a source of inspiration for the group. And it is that in Pass they also include a topic called Philomenewhich reminds us of the incredible snowfall we experienced in Spain in 2021.

The guys from Sidecars started the tour to present their album in November 2022. Among the shows they gave, the group went through the Wizink Center in Madrid a few days before the end of the year.
