A suspect is locked up after being found inside a stolen vehicle, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) reported Wednesday afternoon.
As reported, officers from the police department located a stolen car with occupants around 11:48 a.m. near the Miragrande Drive and Dale Evans Drive area.
When officers attempted to contact the passengers, a woman fled into a house, it was reported.
The police report adds that the woman barricaded herself and refused to surrender.
However, other suspects have been arrested, it was said.
A SWAT team and crisis negotiators were on their way to the scene, he added.
The statement said officers were evacuating residents of the area as a precaution. No one was injured, it was reported.
