A man has been arrested after a homeless man was found shot dead outside a McDonald’s in Miami Beach early Monday, police said.

Quadir Wilson, 26, is charged with attempted murder and resisting an officer without violence. He was being held on $11,000 bail on Tuesday, according to prison records.

Early Monday morning, the incident happened in an area of ​​Miami Beach that left the homeless man injured and in critical condition. It happened around 2:55 a.m. when Miami Beach police said they received a call about a shooting near 16th Street and Alton Road.

Officers arrived at the scene and found a man with an apparent gunshot wound to the neck.

The man, whom police identified as homeless, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, authorities said.

An unidentified man ran north on Alton Road moments after the incident, police said. Later, a person identified as Wilson, was arrested and arrested.

The incident happened early Monday morning in an area of ​​Alton Road.
