A suspect in a robbery at a West Hialeah Farm Stores has been arrested, police said.

The event, which was filmed, happened at the store, popularly known as “La Vaquita”, which is located at 605 West 29th Street in Hialeah, shortly after 9:21 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7. , as confirmed by the authorities.

The inmate was identified as 22-year-old David Heredia, according to Hialeah police.

In the video, a hooded man can be seen approaching the cashier who was cleaning the place with a gun. The individual asks for money and moments later the woman is forced to give him the money they had been selling all day. Moreover, the man also takes his cell phone and leaves later.

Fortunately, the victim was unharmed, but says the subject took aim at her very closely and is now very emotionally affected.

Hialeah police used surveillance footage to determine which car Heredia allegedly used to leave the scene, according to the arrest report. The car was found in Walker Park on Wednesday and officers found Heredia at the scene.

Inside the car, police also found a hoodie believed to be the same as seen in the surveillance video, as well as a holster containing a gun.

Surveillance footage also showed distinctive tattoos linking the theft to Heredia, according to the report.
