Snowfall in Texas leaves spectacular scenery covered in white
A phenomenon occurred northwest of San Antonio, as in Acuña and other areas of Coahuila; it did not reach San Antonio.
Yesterday we informed you that some municipalities in Coahuila and Durango experienced sleet or snowfall, but also to the north, in some towns in Texas, the landscape was covered in white due to snowfall. Some residents northwest of San Antonio shared the images.
This is how winter is bidding farewell in parts of Texas and northern Mexico, and images and videos have captured the magnitude of the phenomenon. In some places where snow precipitation was recorded was in Rocksprings, Mountain Home, Marfa, Comstock.
In some of the counties where snowfall was recorded were Edwards, Kerr and Real, but the cold sensation was not like when more intense snowfalls occur, since the temperature did not reach the freezing point, and residents of San Antonio were waiting for the snow to arrive, but it was not possible at least this time.
In areas of Nuevo Laredo, such as the west and kilometers, there was a very light fall of hail, as if it were ice pellets, something that was surprising, since the thermometer did not reach the freezing point.
Inhabitants in Texas can be happy, because in the winter there were several snowfalls, mainly in northern areas, such as Lubbock, Amarillo, besides the fact that they were days with intense cold and that caused chaos, because on several occasions there were power outages.
