ORANGE COUNTY, Florida. – According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting in downtown Waterford, which left three people with gunshot wounds, is being investigated.

Local authorities say detectives handling the case do not believe it was a random act as the limited information they were able to gather indicates there was a verbal argument between the victims aged 14, 15 and 19 and another group of people.

In written statements, the sheriff’s office notes that one of the victims refused to cooperate with police.

While the other two and the witnesses provided very limited information about what happened.

All three victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
