The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting outside a laundromat in Pembroke Park on Sunday that left one person injured, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. when Broward Regional Communications received reports of a shooting in the 4800 block of Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Pembroke Park.
Officials from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and the Broward Fire Department responded to the scene and found an adult male who had been shot, and paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital.
So far, no further details about the victim’s condition have been released.
Pembroke Park Police have requested assistance from Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene Units and are investigating.
