Shock over the strange death of a popular 23-year-old influencer

An Argentine “tiktoker” passed away while on vacation with her friends in Florianopolis, Brazil. Valeria Silvestre, 23, was known for her many videos on astrology and literature, which had a large number of views and interactions and was known by many network users.

Silvestre had more than 420,000 followers and more than 14 million “likes” on the network. The “influencer” was sleeping in a minibus that was passing through the Joao Paulo area, where she had traveled with her friends. When her companions tried to wake her up, she was already dead.

Her cousin, Milena García, told the Argentine media that the friends “tried to do CPR” to revive her while they called an ambulance, and then took her to the hospital, where they told her she had had a cardiac arrest and died.

The young woman had shared photos and videos with her friends on different Brazilian beaches in recent days, and the news caused a great stir among her followers.

“On behalf of the family, we want to thank the condolences and expressions of affection that have been sent to us for the sensitive death of our beloved daughter,” reads a statement from her parents published on the influencer’s profile. “Her memory will always be present in our hearts, guiding our steps at all times.”
