Orlando Florida. – Local authorities in Florida and Puerto Rico will announce several arrests related to drug trafficking.

The drug trafficking organization is responsible for trafficking hundreds of pounds of cocaine between Puerto Rico and central Florida, according to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The defendants in the investigation face a variety of charges, including racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering, cocaine trafficking and fentanyl trafficking.

The defendants are being prosecuted by the Florida prosecutor.

At the press conference, Orange County Sheriff John Mina will be joined by MBI Director Ron Stucke; Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith; Director of High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA), AJ Collazo; and representatives from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Florida State Attorney’s Office, the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), and the Porto District Federal Attorney’s Office Rico.
