Authorities are looking for four suspects in an alleged hate crime that resulted in the beating of a man at a Koreatown-area subway station.
The crime happened around 7:10 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the 3700 block of Wilshire Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to police, the suspects approached the victim on the subway station platform as he was waiting for a train, then began punching him in the face until he lost consciousness.
One of the men allegedly made a derogatory comment to the victim, “targeting the victim’s ethnicity” before being attacked, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The suspects were described as men in their twenties, dressed in dark clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 877-LAPD-247 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
