For a week, going down to the parking lot of the building, several neighbors have found a bad surprise.
“I left my apartment and my vehicle was completely ransacked,” says Crisol Majave, recently the victim of a theft.
Like Jesús López, another theft victim who says “they raped my car, they took the wheels, they left it as you can see, four blocks away”.
All of this takes place in the 850 living building, located at 811 Northwest 43rd Avenue.
“I cried, I cried out of helplessness, of rage”, recalls Crisol Majave, victim of a theft.
In less than a week, six were victims of the owners of other people’s property.
“We feel quite distressed and dismayed by what is happening in the building because we don’t have any type of security,” confirms López, who asks: “We want the police to come to these cameras and help us solve this problem. because of It is true that all the inhabitants of 850 inhabitants are very afraid”.
So desperate they called Telemundo 51 to report the thefts. The residents of the place ask for a solution to the administration of the car park and the security of the building.
For Majave, the worst thing is that “I made my report to the police and they can’t do anything either because there are no cameras inside the parking lot”.
Distraught residents say they still don’t know if the car’s insurance will take responsibility for the losses.
López confesses: “we are affected, we feel insecure”, while wondering, where is our security?
We have asked the building administration for a statement on these facts, but so far we have received no response.
