Team Fluff narrowly won the 18th edition of the Puppy Bowl against Team Ruff on Sunday with a final score of 69-66 after a matchup that lasted three hours.

Puppy Bowl XVIII kicked off Sunday morning with a performance of “From Puppy Bowl with Love,” which recapped adorable moments from previous bowls. Martha Stewart coached Team Ruff, last year’s champions, while hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg coached Team Fluff.

These celebrities headlined the televised event while wearing their team jerseys alongside their pups.

Other special guests at the televised event included Sesame Street’s Elmo and his dog, Tango, and US First Lady Jill Biden and the First Family’s new pup, Commander.

This year’s bowl featured more than 100 puppies put up for adoption from 67 shelters and rescue centers in 33 states, according to Discovery.

Kirby, a Labrador retriever and service dog in training, was named Team Fluff’s “Most Valuable Player” after he helped his team win the Lombarky Trophy.

The adoption event once again featured stories of shelters and rescue centers doing good, and many, many puppies up for adoption.

The event, which was televised on Animal Planet and streamed online on Discovery+, featured nine special needs dogs, including Benny, a wheelchair-bound Labradoodle; Moby, a French bulldog with a cleft palate, and Rocket, a deaf chihuahua/dachshund.
