Carnival in Tenerife already has its queen and that means the island has everything ready for the big party to flood the streets. And it is that after several weeks in which we have seen murgas, comparsas and musical groups compete to become the most valued of 2023, it is precisely the Carnival Queen election gala that indicates each year the end of the activities in the closed enclosures and the jump of the great carnival in the streets.

Friday February 17 – Day of the Parade announcing Carnival 2023

• All afternoon: Competition of decorated floats and cars on Avenida de Bélgica
• 8:00 p.m.: Parade announcing the Carnival – From the Plaza de la República Dominicana to Francisco La Roche Avenue.
• 10:30 p.m.: Dances and orchestras in Plaza del Príncipe, Plaza de la Candelaria and Francisco La Roche Avenue

Saturday February 18 – Rhythm and Harmony

• 5:30 p.m.: Carnival shows in Plaza del Príncipe, Plaza de la Candelaria and Francisco La Roche Avenue
• 6:00 p.m.: Parade of Rondallas from Plaza Weyler to Plaza del Príncipe
• 7:00 p.m.: Performance of the Rondallas in the Plaza del Príncipe
• 9 p.m.: Rhythm and Harmony comparsas competition on Avenue Francisco La Roche
• 10:30 p.m.: Dances and orchestras in Plaza del Príncipe, Plaza de la Candelaria and Francisco La Roche Avenue

Sunday February 19 – Carnival Party

Sunday, February 25 – End of the Holidays

• 10:00 a.m.: Grand Concours in the City of Old Cars on Avenue Francisco La Roche
• 11:00 a.m.: Performance of the Afilarmónica Ni fú – Ni fá in the Plaza del Príncipe

• 12:00 p.m.: vintage car tour through the streets of the city, ending on avenue Francisco La Roch

• 12:00 p.m.: Performance by the opera group La Zarzuela from the Círculo de Amistad XII de Enero in the Plaza del Príncipe

• 5:00 p.m.: End of the Carnival Party 2023 in the Circle of Friendship XII of Enero

• 6:00 p.m.: End of the Fiesta with a tour of groups through the center of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and at the end, a fireworks display.
