NEW YORK — A man allegedly robbed an American Airlines bus traveling in a JFK airport parking lot early Wednesday, authorities said.
There was no one on the bus, which was stolen from Lot 12 in central Queens shortly before 2 a.m.
went all the way to Great Central Parkway toward Manhattan, then drove south on FDR before finally being caught at Cadman Plaza West and Middaugh Street, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
Charges were still pending against the suspect. His name has not been disclosed.
Police say they have nine previous arrests, but the bus robbery does not reflect any of those.
Most of the criminal records are believed to be domestic in nature, with the last arrest dating back to 2015.
