A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing incident in which two people were stabbed Monday at a Tri-Rail station in Hollywood.

Hollywood police, who were on the trail of the suspect, confirmed that a subject linked to the case was arrested at a gas station in Miami Gardens on Monday evening, after barricading himself in the premises.

The act of violence for which research has begun took place at a station on the Tri-Rail train line in Hollywood. In this city, located at 3001 Hollywood Boulevard, two people were stabbed Monday morning.

Hollywood police reported the two were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.

“When the police arrived, they saw two victims who had been stabbed. They were immediately rescued and then taken to hospital,” police spokesman Christian Lata said.

Police said the suspect was a black man who fled in a Chevrolet Traverse.

A witness to the incident said “there was a guy who stabbed a girl, that’s all I know, it’s terrible that these things happen”.

So far, the identity and the reason for this violent incident are unknown, some witnesses pointed out that one of the victims could be a woman.

“A woman was stabbed by her boyfriend that’s all, I saw it all,” said another person present at the scene.
