The first months of 2023 leave us with a good number of great games for all platforms. In addition to hits from Resident Evil 4 Remake, Metroid Prime Remastered, Dead Space and Hi-Fi Rush, fans of the anime manga world were able to enjoy One Piece Odysseya classic but quite enjoyable RPG based on the legendary work of Eiichiro Oda.
After its launch in January, many users thought that ILCA and Bandai Namco Entertainment wouldn’t give it much more ball with future expansions, but they were wrong. This afternoon, the two companies officially presented Reunion of Memories, the first (and apparently only) One Piece Odyssey DLC.
A final mystery awaits in Waford
- Reunion of Memories will expand One Piece Odyssey’s story with more hours of gameplay in which the mugiwara must investigate the mystery of the “Black Cubes”
- This additional adventure takes place after the epilogue of the basic game and makes us discover other two alternate versions of Limthe young woman created especially by Oda for the video game
- Luffy and his people will have to Dive back into Memory Worlds and face new dangers: Iconic anime villains now have cubes that grant them more powerful abilities
- And the big news is the return of a fan-favorite antagonist: Enel is back!
When will this DLC be released, will there be new playable features?
Bandai Namco has not shared any release date information for this expansion beyond a “Coming soon”. It is therefore to be expected that the expansion will soon reach PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X|S. Nothing is known about the price.
At the playable level, we do not know what kind of novelties could be added in Reunion of Memories. There will probably be more special attacks, but I doubt more controllable characters will be added. Now I ask you: do you think that in addition to Enel, they will introduce another mythical villain?
