NEW YORK — A costumed killer is currently in custody and faces murder charges in an execution-style killing on a street in Queens, police said.

When the man arrived, Reeder ran across the street and shot him twice in the back of the neck, police said. The video shows the victim entering the frame and being ambushed from behind within seconds.

Reeder ran to his car immediately after and drove off. Sources told NBC New York that the Labor Day shooting on South Conduit Avenue in South Ozone Park was considered a possible hit.

It took a year and a half before police finally caught up with Reeder, who was kicked out of the police station on Thursday after being charged with murder. Information for Reeder’s attorney was not immediately available.
