NEW YORK — Are you a lover of the stars and the magic of the night sky? Also, do you like movies?

We bring you good news so you can enjoy the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum free on some Fridays this summer.

To begin, return to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum the first night of astronomy, the so-called nights astro live. The event, scheduled for Friday, May 28, offers fun and educational experiences for the whole family, including talks by leading scientists and activities. Plus, demonstrations led by Museum educators.

Local astronomers will be on hand with their powerful telescopes to help visitors navigate the night sky and answer questions about astronomy and stargazing. Customers can bring their own binoculars or look through the experts’ telescopes.

In addition, for lovers of the seventh art, they will have the opportunity to see a film on certain Fridays for free from the museum ship as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the museum. NOTE: Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. sharp, last entry to the Museum is at 8:30 p.m. All visitors must enter through the Visitor Center to receive a ticket before entering the museum. Entry is not guaranteed and is subject to capacity.
