Authorities are looking for a group of armed robbers who were filmed attempting to rob a Lauderdale Lakes pawnshop at gunpoint.

The incident happened last Friday, March 10, at Cash America Pawn, a store located at 2880 North State Road 7.

Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) officials said one of the thieves entered the store and pretended to be interested in buying jewelry. The other two suspects then entered the store and the first pulled out a gun and pointed it at the employees, authorities said.

Surveillance footage from the location shows the three masked suspects running behind the counter and forcing employees to open the cash register.

We then see one of the suspects repeatedly break a display case in which various objects are stolen.

With an amount of cash and undisclosed jewelry, the alleged attackers fled the scene in a blue four-door KIA with Florida license plate QFPL03, authorities said.

BSO officials said they were working with the FBI to locate the three suspects.

A $5,000 reward is offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about this is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
