In a world where artists continue to release singles only to release records that feel more like compilations than original albums, The German duo assert their point of view in the industry with the release of his new LP. Perhaps they have a more naive vision, but after all, it’s their way of introducing themselves to a loyal following and with which they hope to find new followers along the way.

At least that’s how they put it through the statement announcing their upcoming album: “The best thing we’ve done for ourselves artistically has been keep a real sense of naivety. Maybe it’s because we met so young, but playing music together is like playing. Whatever we do, we try to let childlike intuition, serendipity and a sense of discovery guide us.”

In this line, the song Living in a haze (“living in a mist”) is pure hedonism, it’s an iron will to continue exploring sounds, to let go and surrender to the pleasure of the dance floor. In fact, the chorus says it pretty clearly: “I should dance away from the pain,” Rehbein intones over and over, “I wish I was a disco boy.”
