Former boxer Mike Tyson reignited the controversy after starring yesterday in a violent episode on a plane. The two-time world heavyweight champion repeatedly punched a passenger who insisted on speaking to him as the plane was about to take off from San Francisco to Florida, the TMZ website reported .

In a video taken by some of the passengers, Tyson can be seen leaning over the back of his seat , repeatedly punching the man hard , in an incident that occurred on Wednesday.

As detailed by the local media, the incident occurred aboard a “Jet Blue” aircraft that was about to take flight from San Francisco to Florida.

“Iron Mike” was initially friendly with the passenger and his friend when they boarded the flight, but reacted after the man “wouldn’t stop baiting him ,” according to TMZ. The passenger “kept trying to talk to” the 55-year-old former boxer, a witness said.
