With the emergence and success of streaming platforms in recent years, we are witnessing a phenomenon that was only known a few years ago within electronic music and the music industry in general: more and more more frequently, the music producers behind our favorite songs are stepping out into the public eye by appearing in song credits or with their names next to the artists they’re collaborating with on a songtaking the place and recognition they deserve.
Within the national industry, Names like D3llano are becoming increasingly popular, one of those directly responsible for the emergence of a new wave within urban and alternative pop in Spanish. (as well as other names such as Pablo Rouss or BLNCO) and the new direction the genre is taking towards electronics lately.
Pablo Rodríguez de Llano, the figure behind this artistic name, is a multidisciplinary artist. With more than eight years of career behind him in the music industry (whether as a student, musician, producer, composer or DJ), In 2015 he made the decision to move from Ávila to the capital to study the degree in Musical Creation at the European University of Madrid.: a formative experience where the seed of what would become his first album was planted, thousand sleepless nightswhich arose as part of his graduation project.
Since then, he has always strived to leave his mark of identity and origin in electronic music in all the songs he has worked on. At 27, he can boast on his CV of having been part of the posters of major national festivals such as Arenal Sound or FIB.as well as the soundtrack of series such as Elite (where in its first season we can hear Paris there Thread) o Boy Toy.

Since this year 2018 in which his music has enlivened the halls and parties of Las Encinas, five years have passed. Five years in which D3llano has not stopped working and growing as a professional, especially at the hands of Delgaoone of the artists with whom he has collaborated the most since their meeting in 2019. He met the former member of Go Romeo via an Instagram direct and he tells LOS40:
“He was with Sadly live and I was following Sadly on Instagram, he knew my work. He asked me how I work and if we could get together one day. So I kinda checked on the things I was doing and he liked it and met us a few weeks later. It wasn’t even to compose, it was to eat a kebab, to get to know each other and we got along so well that from there, it was all round , Really”.
By defining his own style, he himself underlined his ability to adapt to all genres during an interview for NEO2 in September 2021: “Above all, I love my versatility, as I believe I can work with a wide range of styles and genres and enjoy and learn from all of them. I like to mix styles in my productions and make hybridizations that may seem strange at first sight (…) I don’t mark myself in any genre and I feel like I don’t do any genre in particularI like to experiment and do very different things, be versatile and not accommodate myself, but if I had to get wet, I would say that I do pop with electronic accents”.
A pop with electronic accents which we see more and more often the way it crosses the sphere of independent music to sneak little by little into the mainstream.: one of the artists with whom he has collaborated the most is Samuraï, nominated for Breakthrough Artist at the Los40 Music Awards 2022, who champions alternative pop with songs like between the roofs oh From puddle to puddle with Belen Aguilera.

With the Catalan, with whom he shares a collaboration with Hens (one more turn), He has been seen working in the production studio for the past few days and he is one of the names responsible for the EP which will be released on digital platforms during the month of June.. An EP which transits precisely from the sound of SUPERPOP towards hyper-pop and electronic music to continue his process of experimentation and research of his own sounds.
