The intersection of South Parker Road and South Chambers Road in Aurora was closed for hours Monday morning due to a serious traffic accident.
The accident, which involved at least four vehicles, closed the intersection before 6 a.m. Monday.
The Aurora Police Department (APD) said the accident occurred at the intersection of Chambers and Smith streets.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) said the accident caused serious injuries and one victim had to be hospitalized.
All lanes were reopened at 9:20 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. So far the state of health of the person injured in this accident is not known.
