“Kaguya-sama: Love is war – The first kiss never ends –” is the anime movie that follows the love story of Kaguya and Shirogane as it was left in which it was treated in the time of anime season 3. Indeed, this feature film is the first in the franchise that MUST be seen to know how the canonical events continue in comparison to the episodic anime. And although I know that many people have been waiting for a premiere in theaters in Spain… I have a feeling that it won’t happen.
Kaguya-sama’s first animated film: Love is War already has a theatrical release date
Why do I say the latter? Well, because now in Japan it was released the release date of the feature film but on televisionwhich anime will be released in the spring (via AnimeHunch):

- In Japan, during the The film divided into 2 parts will be released on March 31. On this day, the first part will be broadcast via the channel MBSwhile on April 2 (on the same channel) the second part will be broadcast.
- Subsequently, in several other chains in Japan, the film will be released in a single broadcast from April 5, 2023.
- How does this affect the international market? Well, the truth is that it’s hard to say, because in Spain no one has spoken at any time to bring Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss Never Ends- to our cinemas. And if we add to that the date with the broadcast of which regular anime… It therefore seems very complicated that the feature film will be released at some point in national theaters.
If I had to bet, it seems like it won’t take too long to hear how Crunchyroll makes an announcement on “Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss Never Ends-” for Spain, though what i most likely see is that they just end up uploading the movie to the platform as streaming content. In any case, I think that is what will happen given the current scenario, but we will not know anything definitive until the competent bodies have made a decision.
