It seems like J Hope will be the second member of BTS, after Jin, performing military service. According to his record company, the South Korean singer has started the enlistment process.

However, this news did not come alone, as the company also announced that on March 3, this idol will be releasing a new song. His name is In the streets and refers to “its street dance roots”.
“J Hope He composed this song for his fans. The title takes us back to the origin of his dream of wanting to become an artist and the path that he and his fans will continue to walk together,” the press release reads. “We hope this song will serve as a meaningful gift for all people who support the artist”, he concludes.
This single marks the South Korean artist’s fifth solo project and comes after the albums Hope World (2018) and Jack in the box (2022); and the single Chicken Noodle Soup with Becky G (2019) and Blue Side (2021).
Jin, the first BTS member to join the military
At the end of 2022, J.was the first BTS member to begin military service. Although young South Koreans must enlist before the age of 28, an Order of Cultural Merit awarded by President Moon Jae-In in 2018 granted the K-Pop group an exemption from enlisting at age 30. .
