“The little one was my sister’s world, she waited so long to have it,” said Courtney Rotz, Hayley Ohwiler’s sister.

The tragic incident happened at 4.15pm on Sunday when a drug-impaired driver lost control of his vehicle, hitting a family, including a 34-year-old father and a 31-year-old mother, who were walking little Madden for eleven months. .

“I met the family, he was a beautiful baby. We have a six-month-old son and especially at the moment it hits very hard,” said Raymundo Rodríguez, who knows the family.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai left the road and collided with the family a short time later.

Days after a teenager died in an accident in South Los Angeles, the death of his brother, an 18-month-old boy, was announced.

The four people, including the driver of the vehicle, were treated by paramedics before being transported to Providence Mission Hospital in critical condition, where baby Madden died a short time later.

Telemundo 52 spoke to the little boy’s aunt, who, like the whole family, is in shock.

“It was something that happened out of the blue, I never imagined it would happen to them,” said Courtney Rotz, sister of Hayley Ohlwiler.

At this time, the minor’s parents, Hayle and Kyle, residents of Santa Margarita, are receiving medical attention.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Hyundai Sonata vehicle is a 54-year-old man from San Clemente, who has already been arrested.

The couple’s friends and family showed impressive solidarity by creating a GoFund me page to take care of all medical expenses and funeral services.
