Although the TOTS event is about to start in FIFA 23 and the voting for the teams of the season is still going on (in fact it started yesterday that of the Bundesliga), we can also support any of the candidates at the POTM of LaLiga Santander in April since the usual page.

A lot of the Players of the Month have not been of interest to Ultimate Team, and with Teams of the Season starting to arrive very soon, It seems even more complicated that the next ones can stand out. Anyway, here is the list of nominees.

POTM FIFA 23 – LaLiga Santander Nominees (April)

Most Candidates don’t have In Form builds in FIFA 23 (cards thanks to FifaRosters.com).
  • Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid): He scored two goals and his team won three of the four games played. It’s the newest POTM in LaLiga Santander and this version has four skills and a bad leg, but its Path to Glory has perfect stars and now it’s not very expensive. If he were to receive another player of the month, he would have to have very good numbers to stand out.
  • Ronald Araujo (Barcelona): He provided two assists, apart from the fact that his club did not concede a goal in the games played in La Liga Santander. It would be his first POTM of the season, but it seems difficult that he can reach the Future Stars item. Although it may be slightly lower in performance and much cheaper.
  • Marco Asensio (Real Madrid): Three goals and two assists, although his club lost several games in April. He also doesn’t have an In Form, but he does have a World Cup Stories with an average of 89, four stars with poor footing and affordable. For him to be interesting as a player of the month, he should probably beat this card.
  • Youssef En-Nesyri (Sevilla): Three goals and his team barely dropped two points during the month. He would need to improve quite a few aspects to be interesting, as his Showdown didn’t have great dribbling numbers, was slow off the start, had horrible vision (62) and had three watermark stars.
  • Inaki Williams (Athletic de Bilbao): Like En-Nesyri, he scored three goals and conceded only one draw against his rivals of the month. He recently received an IF with an average of 87 in FIFA 23, but he is still missing stars on the wrong foot and his balance is very poor (68). Although if he fixed those weaknesses, he could be useful as a boost due to his huge natural speed.
  • Salim Amallah (Valladolid): Two goals and an assist in April. He barely has his silver base item that doesn’t even reach four skill stars or bad leg. It would take a huge upgrade to be useful.
  • Lee Kang In (Mallorca): He scored two goals and his team added seven of the possible nine points. He already has a Dynamic Duo card in FIFA 23 that had a lot of decent stats, but didn’t stand out on any of them and didn’t go past three bad legs. It doesn’t look very promising either.

I leave you here the article on when it might be more interesting to open the packs during the TOTS. And if you want to be informed about FIFA 23 Ultimate Team news, you can join telegram broadcast channel. Cheers!
