Since last Monday, April 10 we can vote for the community team after that will open voting for almost all main leagues in FIFA 23. Among the early TOTS nominees we find many players who don’t typically fit the Ultimate Team meta, but others look very promising. So in this post I want to comment on those that I consider to be could be more interesting.

I mainly chose players who have already received event builds during the year. And I do this because, in FIFA 22, blue cards have almost always outperformed previous ones in every aspect. So if someone already has an item with good stats, the logical thing is that their TOTS is very powerful.

FIFA 23 – Potential for very promising community TOTS

Attackers

If FIFA 23 keeps last year’s style, most TOTS should have better overall stats than the chosen player event builds. These could therefore serve as a reference (letters thanks to FifaRosters.com).
  • Kingsley Coman: Its previous versions of FIFA 23 fail on the wrong leg, but some TOTS tend to boost stars. If he had four, he could become a great striker for the Bundesliga and France. It wouldn’t be strange if his rhythm reached perfection and naturally he already has five watermarks.
  • Alexis Sanchez: His Fantasy FUT has already reached an average of 93 (received another upgrade recently) and has spectacular numbers in many attributes, so the TOTS could be one of the best statistical strikers in FIFA 23.
  • Gabriel Jesus: His Winter Wildcards hit five stars, but he may not have that edge as a TOTS. I would like him to lift his three bad legs and I guess if he was competitive he would have a high price for his popularity. But receiving it as non-transferable wouldn’t be bad.
  • Rodrigo: Like Gabriel Jesús, I feel that it wouldn’t be a great value for money to create hybrids. But he could perform well as an electric dribbling striker and it wouldn’t be strange if his pace was near perfection.
  • Samu Chukwueze: I don’t think I keep the five bad leg stars from his recent FUT birthday, but maybe it could reach four. He would probably have a privileged rhythm and a very fine piloting. I feel like he could be a good deal as he doesn’t seem to be a very popular player in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
  • Juyna This: Being Japanese from Stade de Reims, it wouldn’t be easy to include him in the hybrids. But based on his Path to Glory numbers, he’d probably be a great choice as a booster. Because this card already combines 98 acceleration, 95 sprint, 99 agility and 88 vision.

Mediocentros

Best FIFA 23 Ultimate Team cards Thuram, Bernardo Silva, Merino, Rice, Zielinski, Bennacer and Talisca
  • Kephren Thuram: His Future Stars already have some great numbers to play as a destructive midfielder who doesn’t come into conflict with the ball. So as a TOTS he could be brutal, given the number and his physical power (he measures 1’92). It seems to be one of the most promising.
  • Bernard Silva: I feel that would be overpriced as he seems to be a very popular player in Ultimate Team. But as a non-transferable player, he could be very interesting because of his qualities, either as a striker or as a creative midfielder.
  • Mikel Merino: When he appeared as the Rulebreakers, he was a bargain in the role of a defence-oriented midfielder who doesn’t care about the ball. As TOTS could play a similar role, update the numbers of the other version to adapt to the current level of FIFA 23.
  • Declan Rice: His Centurions card had very good conditions to be CDM, so the TOTS could be a great option for those who value rear-end solidity. And being a Premier League Englishman, he would easily fit into many hybrids.
  • Piotr Zielinski: Midfielder who since the start of FIFA 23 has stood out for its stars, it is not usual to combine four skills and five bad legs in this position. If his defensive attributes were decent and he didn’t care too much about his back, he could become a great MC player.
  • Ismael Bennacer: He first appeared as RTTK, then he received a Fantasy FUT and TOTS could again be another leap in quality. Although seeing the price of its dynamic version, I feel that it would not be very affordable.
  • Anderson Talisca: Cristiano Ronaldo is extremely popular, so it wouldn’t be strange if he received a special powerful version in the future. And in that case, a TOTS card from your teammate might help you connect.

Defenders and Guardians

Best FIFA 23 Ultimate Team cards Robertson, Tavernier, Kim Min Jae, Disasi, Otamendi, Trimmer, De Gea and Lafont
  • Andrew Robertson: Although he arrived in Ultimate Team months ago, su Winter Wildcards it is still a letter with very complete digits. I guess I wouldn’t keep the watermarked five stars, but I could count on great stats.
  • James Tavernier: A TOTS classic who, since receiving a Centurions with good stats, could become one of the most effective full-backs in FIFA 23 (and it wouldn’t be the first time this has happened in Ultimate Team) .
  • Kim Minjae: Typical DFC with a powerful physique, respecting the pace and with acceptable defensive stats. I wouldn’t be surprised if he appears as a TOTS, he becomes a bargain because his Path to Glory was quite cheap.
  • Axel Disasi: Even though his SBC was very cheap, his FUT Anniversary version offers pretty solid performance. So as a TOTS he could be a spectacular centre-back.
  • Nicholas Otamendi: His free honorable mentions stood out for defensive stats, but his pace was barely decent and he’s only 6’2″. I don’t think he can be a top DFC, although for Argentinian teams, that would be nice if he stood out for his speed.
  • Christopher Trimmel: Typical back, very powerful physically due to his height of 1’89. Fantasy FUT is already a big deal, and due to its team and nationality, it would be hard to bond with. But for Bundesliga teams, it could be a great option.
  • David De Gea: It doesn’t have a special version in FIFA 23 yet, but I used it earlier in the season and it didn’t perform badly. As a TOTS, he could be quite a reliable goalkeeper, and due to his club and nationality, he would help create many hybrids. I’m sure some people remember the free letter you received last year.
  • Alban Lafont: I haven’t used it as FUT Birthday, but I’ve played it often and it generally works well. So TOTS could be a very solid card.
