NEW JERSEY – This Thursday, July 27 is National Take Your Kids to Work Day, and NJ Transit is celebrating with a special offer.
Indeed, those under 18 will be able to travel for free during this date upon payment of the adult fare.
“Taking your child to work is a great opportunity to educate kids about their parents’ professions and expose them to sustainable transportation,” said Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti, New Jersey Department of Transportation Commissioner and President. of the NJ TRANSIT Board of Directors. “NJ Transit is thrilled to provide a way for our young people to be inspired for the future while their parents and caregivers spend a memorable day with their children.”
NOTE: This offer is only valid on Thursday, April 27 and entitles two children 18 and under to travel free with each paying adult. Children do not need a ticket to take advantage of this one-day special.
