If you are one of those who frequently circulate in the M-30, A-2, M-14 and A-3 from Madrid, these lines will interest you. According to some media, the General Directorate of Traffic has installed new speed cameras in some parts of the city which, although they were raised before, are now officially activated.

As El Confidencial points out, the new radars have a different operating system from the others. “These cameras emit a light signal to warn the driver that he is exceeding the speed limit and has the ability to react to slow down and thus avoid the fine”Explain.

But where to find these new radars? ANDn the M-30, between Ventas and Costa Rica; on the A-2, between the CEA bridge and Canillejas; on the M-14, between the airport terminals; and on the A-3, between the M-40 and Rivas.

Fines

What happens when we exceed the authorized speed? Indeed: they impose a fine on us. The current rates of how much we would have to pay if we don’t obey the limits set by these radars are among the 100 and 600 euroswith reduction of card points.

When you exceed 30km/h, you pay the minimum of 100 euros. On the other hand, between 31 and 50 km/h, in addition to paying 200 euros, 2 card points are lost. When you exceed 60 km/h, you lose 4 points and 400 euros. If you exceed 70 km/h, 500 euros will be paid and 6 points will be lost, and from 80 km/h it is considered a criminal against road safety and 600 euros will be paid.

And you, have you ever been fined? If you’re one of the most clueless, pay extra attention behind the wheel.
