The others invited to the traditional Christmas dinner were very close friends of Enrique, nothing less than Luis Enrique Miranda Nava and, since it was a very youthful evening, their children were also present, Luis and Santiago; both young people also shared different photos of the memory on Instagram.
Miranda’s closeness with the former president of Mexico is total, let’s not forget that they have been collaborating together for several years. At every opportunity he had, Peña Nieto called him to occupy important positions in his administrations; as from 2009 to 2011, when he was appointed Secretary General of the Government of the State of Mexico.
Already as president, Enrique called him first to serve, since December 4 of 2012, as undersecretary of government of the Ministry of the Interior. Then, from September 7, 2016 to January 10 of, 2018, he was Secretary of Social Development (Sedesol), although his appointment was contested by different researchers and civil society organizations.
One of his sons has followed in his footsteps and managed to position himself within the scope of national power, Luis, who in addition to being a blogger and going to the soccer team America, worked at the Mexican embassy in the United States in 2016 and now works as legislative advisor in the Senate and Secretary of Youth of the PVEM EdoMex.
