If we talk about groups that have marked the history of modern music, one of them is Queen. With Freddie Mercury in the head, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor like squires, they shattered the plans of the rock for several decades.
After the death of the leader, the group underwent several changes and conflicts. Constant back and forth as they tried to keep the group afloat. Over the past two years, marked by the pandemic and other issues, and after fulfilling a large set of dates, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert they admitted they would need a break, but with an open mind to eventually return.
Finally, the wait was worth it and Queen is officially back. Last week the iconic May released one of his stellar guitar solos adding that he would be back shortly after. “very serious discussions” with the group.
The artist published a text accompanying the video in which he thanks his fans for their support: “And thank you ALL of you for your incredible response to my posts on the King Charles Knighthood. I was completely overwhelmed by your overwhelming support in my IG comments. Many of you kindly said it was long overdue long, and for that I thank you, but it’s never too late. I’ll work even harder to make up for lost time! I’m grateful and empowered! We’re all starting to realize more clearly what we’re fighting for. Come on -y!!! Bri”.
The 75-year-old guitarist also confessed to Variety in November last year: “We’ll probably be in the United States in 2023 at some point. Hopefully that will happen, it’s a big possibility.” And now he confirms with his last post on social networks.
So with that, we’re lucky to be able to live another year of Queen.
