Kiely Rodni, 16, disappeared a little over two weeks ago at a party attended by more than 100 teenagers. The last time anything was heard from her was on August 5 around 12 in the morning, her vehicle had also disappeared.
However, divers searching for the young woman recently discovered an overturned car 14 feet under the water and a body was inside. Unfortunately, on Sunday afternoon the 21st they confirmed that the body belonged to Kiely.
They still have no idea what could have happened to the girl, and her parents have stated that nothing out of the ordinary happened in the days and hours leading up to her disappearance. Even her mother commented to the media that she received that day with “a smile on her face.”
The last contact her family had with her was through a text message at 11:40 p.m. informing them that at 12:15 she would be leaving the party to drive home.
On the other hand, the group of Adventure With Purpose volunteers who had been collaborating in the search for Kiely were in charge of making this news known on social networks:
