On Wednesday, October 26, a shooting occurred near the intersection of Broadway and E Street in Chula Vista, where one person was killed from multiple gunshot wounds.

Today, the Chula Vista Police Department put up an announcement to ask the public for help in the search for Ángel Bojórquez, whom they consider to be ‘a person of interest’ in the murder of the victim who was recently identified as Eduardo Villaseñor.
The events occurred around 10:00 am, when the local police received a 911 call to report a shooting where a driver of a vehicle shot the driver of another vehicle and then fled the scene.

Officers found the victim in the driver’s seat of his black Nissan Altima, which was parked on the north curb in front of 593 E Street. Despite having been taken to the hospital, her death was later confirmed at the scene.

According to witness statements, the suspect and victim were seen driving west on E Street in two separate vehicles prior to the shooting.
The drivers got out of their vehicles and approached each other. One of the drivers shot the other and fled in a silver or gray 4-door sedan, possibly a Nissan, which was last seen heading west toward the I-5 freeway.

The suspect was described as an adult Hispanic male, age unknown, 5’8" to 5’9″, of medium build, with short hair.
