Aliso Niguel high school was evacuated due to a telephone threat

A threat prompted the evacuation of Aliso Niguel High School in Orange County.

Police evacuated the school at 28000 Wolverine Way, as a precaution, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

After a search of the school and an investigation, the threat turned out to be unfounded. The school will reopen and students will be able to return to campus.

Pupils who were at the school were evacuated to Foxborough Park and parents were urged not to come to school during the investigation.
