Under the rule of a tyrannical empire, Tatsumi, a young swordsman, leaves his hometown to try to save it from extreme poverty. During his journey, he will meet Akami, a girl who was bought by the empire, raised and trained to become an elite assassin member of the “Night Raid” group.
