NEW YORK — A New York amusement park, which happens to be Westchester’s biggest summer employer for young people, is hosting a job fair for hundreds of positions from its upcoming summer season.
Playland will be hosting a career fair at the Cambria Hotel in downtown White Plains, located at 250 Main Street, on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The park will be open from May 20 to September 10, 2023. The iconic amusement park is Westchester County’s largest summer employer for young people with nearly 700 seasonal job openings, ranging from ride operators, lifeguards, beach and pool hosts, admission hosts, retail businesses. managers, guest services, IT/technology support, group sales assistants and much more.
All applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply.
Benefits include competitive salaries; unlimited play at Playland with a free season pass and free tickets for friends and family; free round-trip bus transportation available throughout Westchester County; the ability to work flexible hours; discounts for park employees and with other companies; and further.
Additionally, Playland will provide free lifeguard training and certification to qualified swimmers who apply to Playland Beach and Pool as lifeguards. The lifeguard rate starts at $18 per hour.
Candidates must complete a form before the job fair, which can be found online, and be prepared to be interviewed on site.
